I think this guild would really benefit from having ONE person who does all the stuff with recruitment. I am more than happy to volunteer. If we are going to be picky about who we let in it might be helpful to talk to them in game and possibly play with them a little bit to see there gaming style. I don't know how intricate you want to be. I have alot of experience in this field, as I have been the recruitment officer for 2 other guilds.(my WoW guild on the american server, and Everquest (other MMORPG) I think its somthing to consider. IF you don't want it to be me because you know your all levelist bastards then pick one person to do it.
